The beginning...
I started at 14, my older sister was a volleyball player at University in Canada and I also wanted to do that. The school that I went to, volleyball was the most popular sport.

Turning point...
There were two, in fact. The first was when I was selected by my University (Trinity Western); I wasn’t a good enough player at that time but the coach believed in me. The other was when I was selected to the National team for the first time and we beat Russia.

Biggest influence...
My older sister. She has also played for Canada; she was also my big inspiration as it was hard work that got her to that level.

Achievements...
Fifth in the World League, fifth in the 2016 Olympic Games, National championship twice at home, and as a pro I have played in France, Germany, Austria and Switzerland.

Most memorable moment....
The 2016 Rio Olympics, walking in the opening ceremony, beating US in the first game, that was pretty cool.

On Pro Volleyball League...
I am truly excited. I’ll get to understand Indian volleyball, the style, technique and mindset. It’s going to be a great experience.
