2019
The beginning…
I took up the sport at 17 at Mahbubnagar and my coach told me to move to Hyderabad to improve, which I did and I enrolled in a camp there and got better and was selected for the Sub-Junior Nationals. Following that, I got selected to Sports Authority of India in Bengaluru.
2019
The turning point…
I’d say joining sports-loving SRM University in Chennai where I improved my game tremendously.
2019
Biggest influence…
That would be Dakshinamoorthy Sir, my coach as SRM University. He is a fantastic coach, who understands individuals, their strengths and weaknesses, and provides solutions and drills for improvement.
2019
Achievements…
Mini Nationals (2013), Sub-Junior Nationals (2014), Junior Nationals (2015), Senior Nationals (2017, 2018 & 2019), Under-21 BRICS Games (2018, in South Africa).
2019
Most memorable moment…
My first appearance for India at the Under-21 BRICS Games. A dream-come-true, something I will cherish forever.
2019
On Pro Volleyball League…
It’s a great opportunity for the players, and I’m sure it will take the game to the next level in the country as well as further popularise the sport. I’m happy to have been picked by Chennai Spartans. We are a balanced side and will go the distance.
